The prize was given today on the occasion of the 7th international conference on Global Peace through Emotional Literacy in Education and Psychology of Management.
The prize with a purse of
Rs 25 thousand has been sponsored by Gorkha Finance.
Lat year, this prize was presented to Prof Murari Prasad Regmi. The conference is organized by the Global Peace Foundation, World Without Anger and Prime College.
Chairman of the World Emotional Literacy League, Dr Dean Van Leuven handed the prize. Addressing the function, he highlighted the importance of emotional literacy in the present times. He said 9,000 students of emotional litearcy have been trained in Nepal.
Er. Ram Rohan Panta, President, GPF Nepal, claimed that Nepal outclasses other countries in the production of students on emotional literacy.
According to WWA president Deshmardan Basnet, representatives from Nepal, Ethiopia, China, United Kingdom, Bangladesh, India and Malaysia attended the conference. Twenty-nine various papers were discussed in the conference.
