Jennifer Lawrence recounted her bad experiences with the producers as a woman in the film industry during the Elle’s Women in Hollywood event.

The actress of Mother! – who was one of the eight honored actresses at the event – explained how the producers told her that she had to lose a lot for one of her first roles.

When I was a lot younger and getting started, filmmakers told me that I had to lose about 15 pounds in two weeks,” she said, revealing that another actress had been fired for not losing weight so fast.

She said she did not know why everyone thought me so FAT, I thought I was perfectly” f*ckable.

At that time a producer made me do a naked training with about five women a lot, a lot thinner than me. We were standing next to each other with only tape covering our parts “- she added.

After that demeaning and humiliating training, the producing woman told me that I should use photos of my naked as an inspiration for my diet.

Then Jennifer said she had the courage to go and tell another producer, telling her that she thought those demands to lose weight were not appropriate.

She said she did not know why everyone thought me so FAT, I thought I was perfectly” f*ckable.

WTF? My gosh … The woman producer! Does it make her feel fat and sends her to lose weight and the man tells her that she is perfectly f * ckable? Wow! Then they ask why the young actresses end up addicted, anorexic … crazy.

Lawrence said she felt trapped by the experience.

I let myself be treated in a certain way because I felt I had to do it for my career.

I’m still learning that I do not have to smile when a man makes me uncomfortable. Every human being should have the power to be treated with respect because they are human.

The Oscar winner also said that despite the sadness that comes with sexual harassment or sexual assault, she believes that the experiences of all women have been “strangely unifying.”

See? Not only are male producers cruel and abusive, women as well. SAD! Jennifer Lawrence expressed feeling “deeply disturbed” to hear the news of Harvey Weinstein’s allegations of harassment and sexual abuse . JLaw won the Oscar in 2013 for “Silver Linings Playbook,” which was produced by Weinstein.
