Nepal has lost it’s first match by 4 runs against Scotland in the World Cricket League Championship match played at Cambusdoon New Ground, Ayr, Scotland.
Nepal had chosen to field first wining the toss. The match was delayed due to the rain and was cut short to 36 overs. Nepal were offered a high target of 236.Scotland scored 235 in 36 overs losing their 7 wickets.
Nepal in answer could make only 232 runs in 36 overs losing it’s 5 wickets and lost the match by 4 runs.
AK Mandal scored the highest 97 runs in 90 balls with 8 fours and 1 six whereas Captain Paras Khadka scored 77 runs in 57 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes.
Sompal Kami came in the last over and scored 11 runs in only 3 balls.
