Famous Bollywood actor Salman Khan is sentenced to 5 years in prison on 2002 Hit-and-run case.He is found guilty on drink drive and killing a homeless man in 2002.
The Sessions court judge DW Deshpande said that all the changers against him is proved. While hearing the verdict, Salman almost collapsed with tears and his family members present at the court premises were also so sad.
The defense lawyer has said that Salman has pleaded for lesser sentence because of his humanitarian work and also the he has paid Rs 19 Lakhs as compensation to the victim’s family.
