Julio Cesar saves penalty from Chile

World Cup 2014 host nation Brazil has advanced to Quarterfinals after beating Chile in a stunning Penalty Shoot Out Match whereas Colombia has secured it’s position in Top 8 Group beating Uruguay 2-0 in regular time.
The match between Brazil and Chile was started in a very competitive way as Brazil didn’t want to loose it as a host country whereas Chile was craving to beat host nation in front of 95% home team supporters. David Luiz’s opened his score for Brazil at the 18th minute of first half but Sanchez’s equalizes at the 34th minute.
Both team couldn’t score on regular 90 minutes and added time of 4 minutes although they have created some great moves.There was no goal even on extra time of 120 minutes leading the match into penalty shootout. Brazilian hero Julio Cesar saved two first penalties. Neymar, David Liuz and Marcelo scored although Willian misses sending it a far wide. Final shoot out from Chilean player Zara hit the Post and Brazil has advanced through the quarterfinals.
In the second match, Colombia has managed to advance through quarterfinal with 2-0 victory both goals from James Rodriguez. Colombia was seen dominant from the beginning and Colombian star Rodriguez opens the score at 28 th minutes with a long range volley probably the tournament’s one of the best goals. Uruguay was trying to get back into the game as it had to come without scorer Suarez and Diego Forlan didn’t show his magic this time and was substituted on 53rd minutes. Rodriguez doubled the score  for Colombia at 50 th minutes enabling him in golden boot race with 5 goals , although Uruguay struggled on, the match was over with 2-0 victory for Colombia and Colombia became second team to qualify for the quarterfinals. Colombia will meet with Brazil on the 7th of July in their quarterfinals.
