PM Attends Foundation Laying Ceremony Of Kathmandu Sheraton Hotel

Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has attended the First Break Laying Ceremony of Hotel Kathmandu Sheraton which is going to be built by MIT Holdings Group of well known business couple Shesh Ghale and Jamuna Gurung.Koirala on saturday, while speaking at the ceremony urged all NRN to invest in Nepal without any delay as the nation has prepared all the necessary environment now.

The 5 star luxury Hotel Kathmnadu Sheraton will be located at Kantipath Kathmandu which will be completed by the end of January 2018.This 800 million Rs  Hotel project will directly employ 50 thousands workers during its construction while around 450 people will be working at Hotel after the beginning of it’s operation in Feb 2018.According to MIT Holdings Group Nepal, the 17 stories building will be built at the area of 14 ropanis which will have 213  suites and guest rooms, spa, health club, retail outlets, 1000 seated conference hall

and also 2 other conference rooms, 3 meeting rooms and a board room.World famous Hotel Management Gorup Starwood Hotels and Resort Worldwide Inc will manage the hotel under it’s Sheraton brand name.Us based Star wood Hotels and Resort Worldwide Inc. is the world’s largest

hotel companies.Earlier Sheraton brand had managed Hotel Everest (1980s)and Gorkha Forest Resort under the names of Hotel Everest Sheraton and Le Meridian respectively.

According to MIT Holdings Nepal, the map of the Hotel has been passed already and other documentation works are going rapidly that the construction work will start in 3 months time.
