Chile has won the COPA America Cup for the second consecutive year beating Argentina 4-2 in Penalty Shootout in the final match played in New York on Sunday.
Earlier no team could score in the regulation and the added 5 minutes time and also in the added 30 minutes before the match had to be decided by Penalty shootout.
Surprisingly Leonel Messy, one of the best players in the world has missed the penalty missing one of the best chances of his career.
Earlier Argentine keeper Romero saved Vidal’s shot who took first penalty for Chile giving Argentines more hope but Messy couldn’t score a leading goal as he missed his shot. Chilean goalkeeper blocked one more Argentine shot and made it easier for his country. Rest of the Chilean players scored and repeated the history again beating Argentina in the finals through penalty.
